Will YOU provide a home for the holidays for homeless veterans and their pets? Give the gift of warmth and safety today.
More than half a million Americans are homeless--and nearly 15% are our nation’s veterans who experience trouble transitioning back into civilian life. Many of these veterans rely on comfort or service animals, and while homeless shelters are a key resource for veterans who need food and a safe place to stay, most shelters in our country cannot accommodate animals.
This leaves many of our nation’s veterans with a bleak decision: brave the cold with their pet, or check into a shelter and leave their battle buddy behind. No veteran should have to make this choice.
That’s why this GivingTuesday, GreaterGood is hosting a Home For The Holidays drive to provide safe housing for our country’s heroes and their pets. They fought for our safety, and now it is time to fight for them. Your donations will send our Rescue Rebuild program to LA Family Housing (LAFH) in February to remodel a brand new facility for homeless Americans and their pets, with beds reserved specifically for veterans.
No pet or veteran should be left behind—or out in the cold. On this global day of giving, help us meet our $100,000 goal to make this new facility that will help our nation’s heroes a reality. You can help--every dollar makes a difference, and every dollar goes straight to the cause. Donate today!
