One morning, team members at the Animal Lifeline Thrift Store found a mysterious crate outside their doors. Inside were nine helpless, weeks-old puppies. The new caretakers took them in, but could tell the pups weren't feeling well. Within 24 hours, one of the puppies broke with parvo.

Parvovirus is a vicious and deadly disease causing severe diarrhea, fever, and vomiting, with a 95% mortality rate if left untreated. Treatment for parvo requires IV fluids, antibiotics, feeding tubes, plasma transfusions and ultrasound testing.

All nine pups need constant care and monitoring. On top of this, all of the puppies also suffer from severe flea infestations and respiratory infections.

But with the tireless care of those treating these pups, there is light at the end of the tunnel. They are still healing, but after isolated treatment, home recovery, and a few weeks of rest and recuperation, these sweet puppies will finally be healthy and ready to find loving forever homes!

You can help these nine puppies get the complete care they need! Your gift will directly fund their continuing treatment. Soon, they will have the chance for happy, energetic lives again.

Help us meet our goal of $30,000 to help all nine puppies recover from parvo disease. Funds raised over the goal amount will go to help provide medical care to other shelter pets
